Located on 50 beautiful acres of scenic, rural land in Grafton, Ohio, our boarding and training facility offers dogs plenty of space to run, play, and thrive. We’re currently seeking a Part-Time Kennel Assistant to help care for our four-legged guests in a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.

Pay

* $500 per week for full-time roles

* This position is currently part-time, one to three shifts per week

* Flexibility to add hours as available

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and safety of the dogs in our care. Responsibilities include:

* Feeding dogs and providing fresh water based on individual schedules and needs

* Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play yards, and common areas

* Monitoring dogs for signs of illness, stress, or injury

* Administering medications and maintaining accurate daily records

* Engaging dogs in play, exercise, and enrichment activities

* Providing comfort, companionship, and reassurance during their stay

* Safely handling dogs while following all facility protocols

* Greeting pet parents and managing check-in/check-out with professionalism

* Communicating updates to pet parents as needed

* Promoting additional services such as bathing and training

* Performing light computer and administrative tasks

* Assisting with limited duties for Multiple Breed Rescue, as needed

* Overseeing the volunteers of Multiple Breed Rescue

What We’re Looking For

* Prior experience in animal care (professional or volunteer) preferred

* A genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare

* Calm, confident, and compassionate handling skills

* Ability to work independently and stay organized

* Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

* Physically able to stand for up to 5 hours, lift 35 lbs, perform repetitive bending, climb a step ladder and occasionally kneel

* Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Shits available

* Thursday, Friday and Saturday 3pm - 8pm

* Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pm
